If you are at all into Cannabis, the Hall of Flowers in Ventura, California was one of life’s great events.

The Hall of Flowers is a two-day gathering of growers, buyers, distributors, afficionados and even journalists of Cannabis from the state of California, held twice a year; once in Southern California, at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, and once in Northern California, coming up this September 20 and 21 in Santa Rosa. More about that later.

Think of it as a Woodstock for Cannabis, with all the good vibes attached.

For starters, everyone there loves and appreciates Cannabis and the wonderful things the plant can do.

There is an opportunity to converse and sample cannabis directly from growers from all over the state. These are people committed to what they are doing, and they have all been vetted by the Hall of Flowers folks.

Not only that – but they are the nicest people you would want to meet. For a moment, I felt like I was back in the heyday of the 70’s and 80’s when Head Magazine began.

The energy on the floor was friendly, informative and lively.  Lots of action – lots of samples.

If you could get away for a snack there were food trucks of many types. The truck for the lobster was really popular, with a line to match. It was worth it!

There were places to relax and light up with the people you knew and the people you just met.

We had a blast and can’t wait for the next one! The next Hall of Flowers will be in Santa Rosa, California at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on September 20 and 21. See you there!
