With the House of Representatives’ recent decision to decriminalize cannabis use on a national level, we’re just that much closer to a whole new chapter in marijuana history. Cannabis is no longer regarded as an unlawful taboo, and cannabis lovers are able to share their love for the medicinal herb without shame. This is a step in the right direction for both pre-existing cannabis businesses and cannabis businesses to come!

Part of this exciting new chapter for the legalized cannabis industry will be encompassed by new Canna-Tourism ventures and public 4/20 celebrations. Despite near-future plans to introduce consumption lounges, Las Vegas’ current cannabis industry is already absolutely booming with really creative ventures – Weed Weddings, behind-the-scenes tours, 4/20 parties, and more!

We’ve researched some of the most notable, highly elevated cannabis experiences and deals in one of the world’s favorite cannabis-friendly destinations, Las Vegas, for 4/20.

First up, adding to the list of eccentric ‘Sin City’ wedding experiences is Las Vegas Cannabis Weddings.  Head Magazine published an article titled ‘Weed Weddings Hit The Mainstream,’ where we mentioned Las Vegas Cannabis Weddings back in February, but for those of you who don’t remember, this cannabis business allows canna-couples to tie the knot with pot, at either a growhouse or at the mega-dispensary, Planet 13.

Las Vegas Cannabis Weddings is offering a 4/20 wedding package for the entire month of April, priced at $4,020. The festive wedding package will include an option of venue (growhouse or Planet 13), an ordained wedding officiant, 60 high res photos, a videographer, a wedding bouquet & boutonniere featuring crystalized cannabis leaves, and a romantic helicopter ride over the Las Vegas Strip.

Canna-couples will also receive a 3-tier cannabis-themed wedding cake, a 20% discount off cannabis products for the entire wedding party inside Planet 13’s dispensary, and $1,200 worth of food and beverage minimum from Trece Eatery inside Planet 13. We can’t think of a more creative way for canna-couples to commence their joint-venture.

Speaking of Planet 13, they are offering 4/20 shoppers an all-day 25% discount (online and in-store) on participating brands and allowing them the opportunity to play classic arcade games, including Supershot Basketball, Football Toss, Ms. Pac-man, corn hole, and Dragon Punch Boxing sponsored by the popular cannabis brands Stiiizy, Rove, Select, CANN, and HaHa.

The mega-dispensary is also debuting its festive cocktail, titled “Up In Smoke,” available from 04/16 to 04/23 at Trece Eatery+Spirits (located inside the dispensary.) The 4/20-inspired cocktail retails for $15 and is vodka-based with hints of blackberry, cucumber, lime juice, and simple syrup finished with dry ice to make it appear that it’s smoking!

Las Vegas locals’ favorite dispensary, The Sanctuary, is giving away 2 pounds of weed and offering blowout deals in honor of the cannabis industry equivalent of Black Friday. With a minimum purchase of $100, The Sanctuary’s 4/20 shoppers will receive a complimentary raffle ticket. The two pounds of flower will be broken down into 32 ounces and raffled off to 16 lucky shoppers from each location, who will then be able to redeem their prize for just a penny.

The Sanctuary’s other festive discounts include 15% off storewide from 2PM until 5PM, eighths of flower for $15, and four one-gram pre-rolls for $20 – all these deals are available at both their downtown and North Las Vegas location. The dispensary is also throwing a 4/20 party at both locations, including a DJ and food trucks. The Sanctuary’s Downtown party will be extra special as it’s hosted by Sin City’s very own Vegas Cannabis Magazine.

Next up is Las Vegas Cannabis Tours – In a city known for its novelty, extravagance, and memorable experiences, Las Vegas Cannabis Tours takes canna-enthusiasts on a trip around Las Vegas, visiting famed dispensaries, grow houses, and cannabis museums. Tour-goers get an extra special behind-the-scenes view into Las Vegas’ extremely successful cannabis industry and have the opportunity to participate in unique and highly interactive experiences such as glass blowing and a helicopter ride with a strip view.

Locals and visitors can choose from a variety of premium cannabis tour tiers.
